COLE’S COLLISION CENTERS CELEBRATES GRAND OPENING OF NEW SERVICE CENTER IN COLONIE
New Facility is fourth Location For Family-Owned Auto Repair Business .
COLONIE, N.Y. – Cole’s Collision Centers, one of the fastest growing auto repair companies in the Capital Region, opens its fourth, and largest, service center located at 1517 Central Avenue in Colonie. Construction began back in the spring on the 18,000 square foot facility, formerly the Northway Inn. This new location is in addition to another nearby Cole’s center at 1904 Central Avenue.
Cole’s has experienced rapid growth since opening its first location in 2007. The company continued to expand in 2010, adding two new centers in Ballston Spa and Wilton. Cole’s fourth location, in Clifton Park, opened in 2012.
This new shop features some of the most advanced auto repair equipment, including a custom, two-car USI Italia spray booth. It also includes a room to house more than 30 cars, features a showroom and training center, and is home to Cole’s management and insurance offices.
“Our customers recognize our commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards and offering the best quality service,” said John Cole, owner of Cole’s Collision Centers. ” That commitment is what allows us to continue to grow and add more locations and employees. This new service center wouldn’t be possible without the support of our customers, partners, suppliers and staff.”
Cole’s hired more than 15 new employees to staff this location, from mechanical technicians and journeymen to clerical staff and customer service representatives. The company employs around 100 between its five locations.
The facility was officially unveiled at the open house and ribbon cutting celebration pm Thursday, September 24, 2015 at which Cole’s representatives presented a $5,000 donation to their charity partner, Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region, Colonie Chamber of Commerce officials and local elected officials where also on hand.
“Cole’s a family-owned business and their support of Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region really shows their dedication to assisting families throughout this area,” said Jeff Yule, executive director, Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region.” We’re extremely grateful for their generous donation and wish them success with their newest expansion.
The architectural firm, m. besse architect, designed the new shop, J. Like Construction, a member of the Hodorowski family, provided general construction services.”
